Detailed Solution

Indian society is divided into four major castes according to the Vedas.
The Vedas divided Indian society into four major castes: Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras. It is a system of caste hierarchy in which the Brahmin caste is at the top. These are mainly the priests and some of the most knowledgeable people who believed at that time. The second position is that of the Kshatriyas, who are considered warriors and brave. They were the people who fought wars and engaged in bravery. The third position is that of Vaishyas, who were skilled merchants and traders. They were businessmen and traders with high levels of income. The fourth position is Shudras, who were assumed as the most backward and inferior class in Indian society. They were mainly labourers and unskilled manual workers who worked for low wages.
