Detailed Solution

India's largest wind farm cluster is in Tamil Nadu from Nagercoil to Madurai.
India has great potential for alternative energy. Additionally, there are important wind farms in Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra, and the Lakshadweep Islands. Nagarcoil and Jaisalmer are known for their effective use of wind energy within the country. The Muppandal wind power plant is located in a hilly area where the wind from the Arabian Sea runs through the pass. Seasonal monsoon winds enhance Muppandal's suitability as a location for wind farms. Muppandal powerhouse is India's largest onshore wind park. This project is found within the Kanyakumari district of Madras. The Madras Energy Development Agency developed this project. With an installed capacity of 1,500 MW, it's the third operating onshore powerhouse in the world.
