Detailed Solution

It is true that Abdul Ghaffar Khan was a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He actively participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement launched by Gandhi in 1930. Abdul Ghaffar Khan was arrested in April 1930 for participating in the Civil Disobedience Movement and violating British laws. Upon the arrest of Ghaffar Khan, the people in Peshawar came on the streets to demonstrate, and for this, they even had to face armoured cars and police firings. But nothing stopped them. The colonial government was constantly arresting Congress leaders to stop the Civil Disobedience Movement.
