The formula of the kinetic energy is,
K.E=12mv²
Here m is mass and v is velocity of the object.
Now, if we double the mass then,
K.E=12(2m)
K.E=mv²
If we double the velocity, then,
K.E=12m(2v)²
K.E=12×m×4
K.E=m×2
K.E=2mv²
Therefore, doubling the mass will have more impact on kinetic energy.
