Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Dynasties like the Cholas, Khaljis, Tughlaqs, and Mughals were able to establish a pan-regional empire that covered a variety of regions. These empires were not all equally stable or prosperous. The vast states of the Cholas, Tughlaqs, or Mughals included a lot of places. According to a Sanskrit prashasti, the Delhi Sultan Ghiyasuddin Balban (1266–1287) ruled over a vast empire that comprised all of south India and extended from Bengal (Gauda) in the east to Ghazni (Gajjana) in Afghanistan in the west (Dravida). People from a variety of places, including Gauda, Andhra, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, appear to have fled in front of his armies. Historians consider these to be inflated claims of conquest. They also try to understand why rulers continue to assert their authority over various parts of the subcontinent.
