In uniform linear motion, when the speed and direction of motion do not change with time, it is said to be non-accelerated. Acceleration is a vector quantity. It has both magnitude and direction. So to keep the acceleration constant, the magnitude of speed and the direction of the object must remain unchanged. An Example is a car running on a straight road. In a uniform circular motion, the speed does not change, but the direction of motion changes continuously and is accelerated. An Example could be the motion of the earth around the sun.
