Plant fibres are those which are obtained from plants. Jute fibre is obtained from the stem of the jute plant. Jute is cultivated in the rainy season and is harvested at its flowering stage. The flax fibres are obtained from the stem of the flax plant and are known as linen. It is obtained from the inner bark of the stem of a plant. Therefore these are the two fibres obtained from the plants' stem.
