Detailed Solution

The above statement is True.
Seleucus Nicator, the Greek emperor of West Asia, dispatched the ambassador Megasthenes to Chandragupta's court. Megasthenes described Pataliputra (now Patna) as a vast and magnificent city in his writings. It had a huge wall around it. It had 64 gates and 570 towers. The two- and three-story homes were constructed from wood and mud brick. The king's palace was also made of wood and had stone sculptures as decorations. There were gardens and bird enclosures all around it.
