The plants which synthesize their food are called autotrophs. They do so by the process of photosynthesis. Saprotrophs are organisms that often grow on dead and decaying matter. These organisms release a digestive juice that digests these organic matter into simpler absorbable form and they absorb these and get their nutrition by this way.
