Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Sodium is kept in kerosene, aluminium is used in wrapping food, and calcium is involved in making quicklime.
Sodium (Na)  is a highly reactive metal that reacts when it comes into contact with water or moisture in the air, so they are kept in kerosene. Aluminium (Al)  is not as reactive as silver and other metals, so it stays unreacted when exposed to light and moisture. Hence it is used to wrap foods as it prevents spoilage of foods for a long time. Quick lime is a compound made from calcium. Calcium oxide is formed from calcium (Ca), chemically represented as CaO.
