A magnetic field is present around the moving charges. A magnetic field is a vector field that defines the magnetic effect of electrical charges and magnetized materials in relative motion. A charge which moves parallel to a current of other charges is experiencing a force perpendicular to its direction. For example, when we bring a magnetic compass near a current-carrying wire in which a direct current is passing, the magnetic compass shows deflection because of the force of attraction or repulsion due to the magnetic field.
