An equator is an imaginary plane that divides the earth into two halves called the northern and southern hemispheres. An orbit is a path through which a satellite (either natural or artificial) revolves around a planetary body. An orbit parallel to the equator plane is called an equatorial orbit.
 And in this orbit, the satellite revolves in an equatorial orbit along the line of the earth’s equator. And to achieve equatorial orbit, the satellite must be launched to the place where the orbit is closer to the earth.
