A soda acid fire extinguisher consists of sulphuric acid and baking soda( sodium bicarbonate). On pressing the knob, of the fire extinguisher, the sulphuric acid reacts with the soda which forms sodium sulfate and water liberating CO2 . This helps in cutting off the oxygen supply and thus extinguishes the fire.
