Work done against gravity when a body is moved horizontally along a frictionless surface is zero.
Work is said to be done when a force displaces a body up to some distance in the direction of the force. Its unit is N-m also, called Joule(J). Mathematically,
Work done = F.s.cosθ
Where F is the force, s is the displacement of the body, θ is the angle between the direction of the force and the displacement of the body.
In the given condition, the Force of gravity acts vertically downward while the body moves horizontally. Thus, the angle between the direction of the Force of gravity and the distance is  90°.
So, the work done by the force of gravity is:
Work done=F.s.cos 90 
       = F×s×0   (as cos 90=0)
       =0
