We have five sense organs, out of which the ear is one. It is very delicate and sensitive. We should put anything sharp, pointed, or hard into our ears because it can damage our ear membrane. The eardrum is present at the end of the ear canal. When the eardrum vibrates, i.e. moves inward and outward, it produces vibration, and this vibration reaches the inner ear. The signal goes to the brain from the inner ear; thus, we hear sound. If it gets damaged, then we get permanent hearing loss.
