Is JoSAA Counselling free of cost?

JoSAA counselling is not entirely free of cost. While the counselling process itself is free, candidates who are satisfied with the seats allotted to them will have to pay a seat acceptance fee. The details of the JoSAA counselling fees are as follows:

• General and OBC candidates: INR 35,000
• SC/ST/Gen-PwD/OBC-NCL-PwD/SC-PwD or ST-PwD candidates: INR 15,000.

Additionally, candidates who withdraw their admission after accepting a seat will have to pay a withdrawal processing charge of INR 7,000.It is essential to note that the seat acceptance fee and withdrawal processing charge are non-refundable.
