Detailed Solution

Jainism was divided into two sects. The Jainist sects were Shwetambar and Digambaras. These were the two Jainist sects. Shwetambar refers to those who wear white robes, whilst digambaras refers to those who are completely naked. Bhadrabahu and Chandragupta Maurya converted to Jainism. Bhadrabahu adopted the Digambar type of Jainism, a key aspect of Mahavira's teachings. At the same time, Chandragupta Maurya accepted the shwetamber school of Jainism, which required them to dress in white robes.
