Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place in Amritsar, Punjab. This place is associated with the infamous Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. On the morning of April 13, martial law was imposed in Amritsar. However, the people, unaware of the law, gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh. Some people came to celebrate Baisakhi, while others came to protest. General Dyer entered the Bagh and blocked the only exit of the place. He asked to open fire on people, which led to the killing of several people. The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre shows the stern face of the British government.
