Detailed Solution

Jatakas are stories composed by ordinary people and then written down and preserved by Buddhist monks. They wrote about the life of Buddha, especially about his previous births in human and animal forms. This work was considered the biography of Gautama Buddha. These works were written in  Sanskrit and Pali languages. Still, these works are considered famous fables. Each fable contains a moral message from the Buddha. This was also translated to Chinese around 434 BCE. All stories are different, and each contains a different message. Some will be short stories, whereas others will be long.
