Let actual price of refrigerator is

The cost of refrigerator to jatin after 20% discount

= \frac{80}{100} \times x

\Rightarrow

Cost of refrigerator to jatin after 20% discount

= \frac{4 x}{5}

Cost of refrigerator to jatin after 25% discount

= \frac{75}{100} \times x

\Rightarrow

Cost of refrigerator to jatin after 25% discount

= \frac{3 x}{4}

Then according to the question,

\Rightarrow

\frac{4 x}{5} - \frac{3 x}{4} = 500

\Rightarrow

\frac{16 x - 15 x}{20} = 500

\Rightarrow x = 20 \times 500

\Rightarrow x = 10000
