Detailed Solution

Jhumming cultivation is an example of primitive subsistence agriculture because, in Jhumming cultivation, a piece of land is burned by the farmers for farming. When the fertility of that soil decreases, farmers used to move to a different land for farming, and again they burn the land once it loses its fertility. Rural people practise this kind of cultivation for their consumption of food. The food production is less in this kind of farming because farmers used to depend on the soil's natural fertility instead of using additional fertilisers and pesticides. Different names know this type of cultivation in places like Milpa in Mexico, Masole in Central Africa, Roca in Brazil, etc.
