Detailed Solution

Kaleidoscopes work on the principle of multiple reflections.
A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument with two or more reflecting surfaces tilted at an angle to each other so that when viewed from the other end, one or more objects on one end of these mirrors appear as a regular symmetrical pattern due to repeated reflection. Kaleidoscopes make numerous beautiful patterns. It operates according to the multiple reflection theory. The same pattern is never repeated in a kaleidoscope, which is an interesting property. Designers of wallpapers and fabrics use kaleidoscopes to get ideas for new patterns.
