Detailed Solution

Kangra school of painting was developed in Himachal Pradesh.
Kangra, Himachal Pradesh's most populous district, is where the name "Kangra painting" originates. After the Basohli style began to fade, it evolved to achieve its current state in the middle of the 18th century. Under the patronage of Maharaja Sansar Chand, this significant Pahari painting style attained its zenith. The Kangra style evolved from the Mughal style, but the Punjab Himalayan nature signified a change from the decadent portraiture of their masters to the use of bhakti and mystic poetry. Lines and red, yellow, and blue hues define the style. Watercolour, a media composed of mineral and plant extracts, was utilised on little scraps of paper or fabric. It used a cold colour scheme.
