Detailed Solution

According to Karl Marx, the industrial society was capitalist in nature. Karl Marx said that capitalists were the persons or groups that possessed all of the capital put into industries and seized control of the earnings generated by the labour force. The labourers in such a society suffered from oppression and exploitation. He believed that as long as capitalists continued to seek profit, the plight of workers would never change. Marx also offered a means for workers to escape this form of capitalist exploitation- the establishment of a radically socialist society. Marx held that workers needed to create a socialist society in which all property was collectively managed.
