Detailed Solution

Kendriya Mahadeva temple was built by the king King Dhangadeva.
The largest and most elaborate Hindu temple in the Mediaeval temple complex at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, India, is the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple. It is regarded as one of India's outstanding examples of Mediaeval temples that have been preserved. King Dhangadeva of the Chandela dynasty built the Shiva-dedicated Kandariya Mahadeva temple in 999. An entrance and the main hall (Mahamandapa), where dances were performed, were connected by an ornate gateway. The primary shrine housed the leading deity's picture (Garbhagriha). The only people who assembled here for formal worship were the monarch, members of his close family, and priests. There were royal temples in the Khajuraho complex that were off-limits to commoners. Sculptures that were intricately carved were used to embellish the temples.
