Kheda Satyagraha was associated with peasants. Mahatma Gandhi started a Satyagraha to help farmers in Gujarat's Kheda area. Kheda farmers have been unable to pay their rent due to crop failures and the epidemic, and they want their rent to be cut. Following this, the British performed a land survey and forced the peasants to pay land revenue. As a result, they launched a no-tax movement in the Kheda district in 1918. Gandhiji organised the peasants to participate in satyagraha. The villagers refused to pay land income, and the government was eventually obliged to agree with the peasants.
