Detailed Solution

Khokhar and Gakkhar tribal groups belong to Punjab. During the 13th and 14th centuries, the Khokhar tribe ruled Punjab and was its most powerful and prominent group. Large areas were under the dominion of some great tribes. The Khokhar tribe had a significant impact on Punjab during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. The Gakkhars gained prominence after that. Kamal Khan Gakkhar, their leader, was elevated to the nobility (mansabdar) by Emperor Akbar. The Langahs and Arghuns ruled over considerable portions of Sind and Multan. They were afterward vanquished by the Mughals.
