Detailed Solution

Kulaks refer to wealthy peasants.
In Russia, rich farmers were referred to as kulaks because Stalin thought they were stockpiling food to increase their profits. In 1928, they were looted, and their supplies were taken. Marxism-Leninism claimed that kulaks were the "class adversary" of the lower class of peasants. By 1927–1928, grain shortages in Soviet Russia's cities had become a serious issue. It was believed that kulaks were somewhat to blame for this. Additionally, the Party under Stalin's leadership believed that Kulaks needed to be exterminated to construct modern fields and manage them following industrial lines.
Kulaks, as they are known in Russian, are affluent peasants who Stalin thought were storing food to increase their profits. Stalin afterward had to implement collectivization programs to get rid of the kulaks and construct them.
