Kushan rules over Central Asia and Northwestern India.
Kushans ruled over the regions of Central Asia and northwestern India around 2000 years ago. They were known for effective policies and controlled the best-known Silk route of that time. As soon as the technique of making Silk became known to everyone, apart from its trade emerged in the form of the Silk Route. Kushans controlled two major centers called, Peshawar and Mathura. In Peshawar, there was a famous place called Takshila from which the Silk route had its path. Kushan also controlled the southern regions of the Indus valley, where the Silk route had extended from Central Asia to the mouth of this river.
