Landless labourers are those who don’t own any land.
As the farmers had no land of their own to farm, they made a living by working on other people's property. They exist in rural areas, where wealthy or middle-class farmers exploit them for their living. The most oppressed people in the village are those other than the moneylenders and the rich farmers. Due to financial limitations, they are denied several essential services, including food, shelter, cleanliness, sanitation, education, and employment. Because they only work during harvest and are mainly unemployed the rest of the year, landless labourers cannot afford these.
