Law of dominance of Mendel states that factors occur in pairs, characters are controlled by factors or genes and it shows that one of the parental traits known as dominant one appears in both ${\mathrm{F}}_1$ and ${\mathrm{F}}_2$ generations and recessive trait appears only in ${\mathrm{F}}_2$generation.
