Length of a rectangular field is 6 times its breadth. If the length of the field is 120cm, then the breadth and perimeter of the field are 20 cm and 280 cm respectively.
Given that length of the field = 120 cm and length is 6 times its breadth.
According to the given condition,
Length of the rectangular field = 6 × Breadth of the rectangle
120 = 6 × b
⇒b = 1206 
∴ b = 20 
∴ Breadth of the rectangle field is 20 cm.
Perimeter of the field = 2 × (l + b)
= 2 × (120 + 20)
= 2 × 140
= 280 
Hence, the perimeter of the field = 280 cm.
Therefore, breadth and perimeter of the field are 20 cm and 280 cm respectively.
