Among the Lanthanide hydroxides, La(OH)3 is the most basic, while Lu(OH)3 is the least basic. 

As the size of lanthanoids decreases, covalent character of hydroxides decreases and basic character increases.

Where as Alkali metal hydroxides are more basic in the periodic table( NaOH, KOH,...)
