Since Equation of hyperbola passes through (3, 3) then

1a21b2=19    ……(i)

Equation of normal at point (3, 3) is :

x31a23=y31b23 

 

Since It passes through (9,0) then

61a2=31b2 1b2=12a2  ……(ii)

From equations (i) and (ii),

a2=92,b2=9

 Eccentricity = e, then e2=1+b2a2=3
