Given a, b are the roots of x210cx11d=0 and c, d are the roots of x210ax11b=0.

Thus, a+b=10c,c+d=10a

and ab=11d,cd=11b

So, a+b+c+d=10(c+a)            ...(i)

and (a+b)(c+d)=10(ca)

 (bd)=11(ca)          ...(ii)

Also, a is a root of x210cx11d=0 and c is a root of x210ax11b=0.

Thus, c210ac=11b,a210ca=11d

    c2a2=11(bd)    c2a2=11(bd)=11×11(cd)    c+a=11×11=121

From Eq. (i), we get,

a+b+c+d=121×10=1210.
