LH in males stimulates

In males, the hormone LH (luteinising hormone) stimulates Leydig cells.

LH is produced and released by the anterior pituitary gland. In males, it plays a crucial role in the regulation of the testes and the production of testosterone. LH binds to Leydig cells in the testes, which are located in the interstitial tissue surrounding the seminiferous tubules. When LH binds to Leydig cells, it triggers the production and secretion of testosterone, a key male sex hormone. Testosterone is essential for the development and maintenance of male reproductive tissues, as well as the promotion of secondary sexual characteristics and overall male health.
