Light enters the eye through the cornea.
First, light passes via the cornea. The cornea is formed like a dome and bends light to help the eye focus. It is the clear front layer of the eye. The light enters the eye through the cornea and then through the pupil. The iris, or coloured part of your eye, regulates the amount of light that passes through. It then passes through the lens.
