Detailed Solution

Concept: Light which consists of more than one of the visible wavelengths is called polychromatic light. Each of the seven wavelengths that make up white light is associated with a certain colour. We may thus say that white light is made up of the seven colours that are discernible to the human eye. Based on the number of colours it includes, light may either be polychromatic or monochromatic.
Light comes in a variety of wavelengths. Each wavelength corresponds to a certain colour. The separation of light into its seven distinct colours is known as a spectrum.
Light can be produced by using one or more of the seven component wavelengths individually or in combination.
Light that comprises more than one of the visible wavelengths of light and has many colours is referred to as "polychromatic light."
Polychromatic light will not form clearly defined bright and dark fringes in diffraction because waves bend around objects with diameters that are comparable to their wavelengths. Furthermore, polychromatic light cannot be utilised to examine interference patterns because the interference patterns overlap.
Therefore, polychromatic light has a variety of wavelengths.
Hence, polychromatic lights are the answer.
