Detailed Solution

Limestone is found in sedimentary rocks. It is from the sedimentary rocks we get limestone. It is included in non-metallic minerals. Limestones are carbonate rocks among sedimentary rocks which are almost 20 percent to 25 percent. The main uses of limestone are that it can be used in the cement industry and also used to smelt iron in the furnace. Along with these it is used for construction and agriculture. Many world buildings such as the great pyramid of Egypt and the Giza complex near it are made up of limestones. Most of the buildings in North America and Europe are also made up of limestones. Limestones are easy to cut into pieces and made into carves.
