L.H.L$=\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1+}{\lim }\frac{\sqrt{1-\cos \left[\left(2\mathrm{x}-1\right)\right]}}{\mathrm{x}-1}=\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1+}{\lim }\sqrt{2\frac{\left|\sin \left(\mathrm{x}-1\right)\right|}{\mathrm{x}-1}}$

$=\sqrt{2.}\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1-}{\lim }\frac{\sqrt{{\sin }^2(\mathrm{x}-1)}}{\mathrm{x}-1}=\sqrt{2}\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1-}{\lim }\frac{\left|\sin \left(\mathrm{x}-1\right)\right|}{\mathrm{x}-1}$ 

Put $\mathrm{x}=1-\mathrm{h}, \mathrm{h}>0,$for $\mathrm{x}\to 1-\mathrm{h}\to 0$

$=\sqrt{2}\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 0}{\lim }\frac{\sin \left(-\mathrm{h}\right)}{-\mathrm{h}}=\sqrt{2}\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 0}{\lim }\frac{\sinh }{-\mathrm{h}}=-\sqrt{2}$

Again R.H.L $=\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1+}{\lim }\frac{\sqrt{1-\cos \left[\left(2\mathrm{x}-1\right)\right]}}{\mathrm{x}-1}\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1+}{\lim }\sqrt{2\frac{\left|\sin \left(\mathrm{x}-1\right)\right|}{\mathrm{x}-1}}$ put $\mathrm{x}=1+\mathrm{h},\mathrm{h}>0$

for $\mathrm{x}\to 1+\mathrm{h}\to 0=\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 0}{\lim }\sqrt{2}\frac{\left|\sinh \right|}{\mathrm{h}}=\underset{\mathrm{h}\to 0}{\lim }\sqrt{2}\frac{\sinh }{\mathrm{h}}=\sqrt{2}$

L.H.L. $\ne$R.H.L. There fore $\underset{\mathrm{x}\to 1-}{\lim }\text{⨍ (x)}$ does not exist
