Let the reduced price excluding value-added tax of the cooler be Rs.X.

⇒ Reduced price = list price − value added tax ⇒ Rs . X =Rs .2563 − Rs .0 .1 X Reduced price = Rs . X ⇒ Rs .1 .1 X =Rs .2563 ⇒ X = 2563 1.1 = Rs .2330

Therefore, the discount price is Rs.2563-Rs.2330=Rs.233
