Looms are the devices that are used for weaving.
Weaving fabric and tapestries is done on a loom. The threads must be held under tension while incorporating. Hence tension is a primary purpose of the loom. The threads are held under tension to assist the interweaving of the weft threads. As a result, a loom is a device for weaving yarn or thread into cloth. The prepared fabric was bleached and coloured after weaving to make it look finished. The weaving process was substantially sped up, and the labour force was reduced after the development of the loom. A single weaver could now operate a broad-cloth loom, which previously required two weavers on each side.
