The traders have significant ties with garment businesses all around the country from which they receive orders. These merchants buy yarn (thread) from others. Weavers reside in surrounding communities and transport the string supplied by these vendors to their houses, where the looms are located in sheds close to their dwellings. Weavers and their families labour long hours on these looms. The yarn is woven into fabric by 2-8 power looms in most weaving operations. These looms create a wide range of sari, towels, shirting, ladies' dress material, and bedsheets. The completed fabric is then returned to the traders. They may be seen here getting ready to go to the town trader.
