Detailed Solution

Lord Reading went hunting in Nepal.
To gain favour with the British, Nepalese rulers arranged massive hunts. However, these hunts may have been bad for conservation, but they worked diplomatically. In Nepal, many members of the British royal family went tiger hunting. Lord Reading was one of the members who went hunting in Nepal. When British colonial officials and Rajas went hunting, they had a complete retinue of servants with them. Normally, trained village hunters did the tracking, and the Sahib fired the shot. Hunting animals was even rewarded by the British. Tiger hunting had evolved into a sports competition. After the 1972 season, when tiger hunting was forbidden to safeguard these majestic beasts, hunting tigers in Nepal's jungles ended.
