Detailed Solution

Louis Blanc was from France.
He advocated for the establishment of cooperatives as a socialist who supported changes to provide the urban poor with a means of securing employment. Like other socialists of the 19th century, Blanc supported economic reform for France to be free of the worst excesses of the Industrial Revolution. Cooperatives were supposed to be groups of individuals that worked together to produce commodities and then distributed the earnings in proportion to the amount of labour each member contributed. With government assistance, Robert Owen desired to establish his cooperatives called New Harmony. On the other hand, Louis Blanc favoured forging powerful cooperatives to take the place of capitalism.
