Detailed Solution

Mahatma Gandhi designed another Tricolour Flag with a spinning wheel in the centre. Throughout the national movement, national leaders were made aware of the role of icons and symbols in uniting the nation's people. It also contributed to developing a sense of patriotism among the populace. As a result, during the Swadeshi Movement in Bengal, a tricolour flag was designed. The colours used to make the flag were red, green, and yellow. It had eight lotuses to represent the regions and a crescent moon to represent Hindus and Muslims. Later, Mahatma Gandhi designed another tricolour flag with a spinning wheel in the centre. It described Gandhi's self-help philosophy. As a result, carrying and waving the flag during parades and marches became a defiant symbol.
