There were several technological and institutional reforms that the government of India took. Some institutional reforms include implementing the Comprehensive Land Development Programme; then, various provisions were also taken for crop insurance during any natural calamity. Gramin banks, cooperative societies, and banks were also established for the farmers to provide loans for agriculture at lower interest.
