Detailed Solution

Maldhari is a pastoralist group in the state of Gujarat. Maldhari is an occupational name for people from many castes and groups. Maldhari literally means "keeper of animal stock" (mal), and they are known as traditional dairymen in the region, supplying milk and cheese to the Rajas' palace (king). They prefer a simple existence in a modest mud house. Maldharis are those who own animals, rear them and herd them. They are the offspring of nomads from Gujarat and Rajasthan. They possessed sheep, goats, cows, buffalo, and camels.
