In angiosperms, the completely developed male gametophyte has one vegetative cell or tube cell and two male gametes or sperm cells. Male gametophyte of angiosperms is highly reduced and it has only three cells.
(1) In angiosperms, mature pollen grain possesses two sperms and not one sperm. It also contains only one
vegetative cell.
(2) Three sperms are not produced in male gametophyte in angiosperms.
(4) In angiosperms, male gametophyte does not possess single sperm and vegetative cell, as already discussed.
