Detailed Solution

Manuscripts were copied on Palm Leaves. A manuscript is a written record of information that was created by hand. These are excellent sources of historical data and can take the shape of a letter, book, scroll, etc. Even after Indian languages were written on paper in the 13th century, many manuscripts were written on palm leaves, birch tree bark, or scrolls. Writing was done on both sides of the leaves. Long rectangular strips were stacked on top of each other, holes were bored through all of the leaves, and the book was bound with string. Palm leaves were most widely used in India for manuscripts, which were prepared by drying palm tree leaves.
